I didn't think I'd have anything for today, then this lovely postcard arrived last week from Belgium via postcrossing.
As it turns out, the sender wrote that they had intended to send a different postcard, then put stamps on this one. A serendipitous mail adventure!
And ornaments in a holiday wreath, also via postcrossing.

How do you like to choose ornaments - traditional, whimsical, by color, by theme, or a complete mixture of all styles?

I like to see different and original Christmas tree. But, on my own, there are usually only bright balls or natural ornaments. Maybe I will change one day!
ReplyDeleteEvery year is an opportunity to decorate a little bit differently
DeleteI really like the first postcard. I usually choose ornaments representing animals in a rustic/primitive style. I tend to select browns and whites in color. I did not decorate a tree this year, so I didn't get any new ones.
ReplyDeleteThis year my tree is mostly animals
DeleteI like a mix decided on a whim but my set of 6 shiny red apples and a robin always make an appearance.
ReplyDeleteQuite often my tree is a a real mix of ornaments, this year it's a bit more focused
DeleteThat first one is nice, different with the embroidery hoop.
ReplyDeleteIt looks even nicer in person
DeleteThese cards are nice and simple. I like to change my decorations on a whim. Too colour co-ordinated does not hold my interest for long.
ReplyDeleteMy tree looks a bit different every year, lots of animals!
