V is for Variety

I am always amazed at the options for holiday stamps issued by the USPS. This year's selection is nice - I like the Holiday Cheer set more than I thought I would when I first saw them, and the Winter Landscape stamps are beautiful, if a bit small to really appreciate the details, particularly once the postmark is applied.

Do you have a favorite from these sets?

Last year's stamps and several Madonna and Child ones are also available in the online shop, as well as stamps for other holidays like Kwanza, Hannukah, Eid and Diwali.

  1. No need to choose, because I have got all these :D
I agree that the frozen landscapes could be a bit bigger. But it is the same with our stamps. They would be better appreciated, especially when they are pictures.
I like to have such variety of stamps!

  2. I liked the Holiday Cheer stamps because of the cardinal which always makes me think of my folks. I wish there were more cardinal stamps in the series.

  4. The winter scenes are lovely to look at (not to be walking in!). I am always amazed at the variety of stamps the USPS has for each theme. For Christmas, we get 1. They vary slightly for domestic, US and international rates
