Another set of letters I may try in the future...

...brought to you by Jean W.

This is a wonderfully understated envelope. Jean has drawn the colors used for the lettering from the stamp. The subtleties are much easier to appreciate in person.

I like this alphabet, it's one I would consider trying myself.

Update: link to the whole alphabet. Thanks, Jean.

  1. Love this writing/font for St Patricks day cards...only not sure I could pull it off!

    1. I think these letters will be very forgiving of small variations, even small mistakes. And if they are for St Patrick's day, then you can always blame it on a glass of beer. I haven't tried it yet, the ones I think I'll struggle with might be the O, the D and the N.

    2. Update - I added a link to Jean's blog where she has an exemplar for this font.

  2. Thanks for the update-I may have to try it. It'd be mainly for an aunt, and she'd be very forgiving, too :)

    1. Practice a couple of lines on scrap paper first to warm up, then go for it. I'm sure your aunt will love it.

    3. You beat me to it - Jean would be really pleased you tried her letters. I haven't had a go at them yet, I'm still playing with the wrought iron letters.
