Jean sent me an envelope a while ago with a lot of vintage stamps, including this one from 1975. It was issued a month before Seventh World Law Conference of the World Peace Through Law Center which was held in Washington DC in October that year.

DeleteThe concept of World Peace through Law intrigues me. I'm not sure I think of lawyers very often as peace makers. I like the design of the stamp, however.
ReplyDeleteI think that many politicians, most of whom are lawyers, do try. A pity they don't all try.
