What is she staring at?

Heleen sent a postcard inside her amazing puffin mail. The idea was to complete the picture. As you all know, drawing is not my forte. So in the end I went with simple. And with something I'd already had success with.

Jon sent me this to complete.

I liked the address side a lot.

Have I mentioned before that I find add and return to be somewhat stressful? Fortunately I was stuck in a groove. So more rose-tipped tree-like vines from me.

  1. I have also sent mine to Heleen, but I forgot to take a picture!

    1. Perhaps Heleen will show them at some point.

    2. Thank you FinnBadger and Eva! I received both well and I love them!
I've already scanned them, but still am thinking how and where to post (probably as a blog at IUOMA). So please have a little more patience..

    3. I'm looking forward to seeing how she traveled, as well as what other people create. IUOMA would be a good place... unless of course you want to add another blog to your list here at blogger.

Eva, thank you very much, too! You're the second person who returned this lady :-) (in total ten until now)
I'll post yours later in the same blog; want to 'spread' the blog posts over time so all seen things/objects get the attention (hopefully) I think they deserve to get.

I almost forgot what she is staring at in my version!

    1. This is known as 'add & pass' or 'add & return'. Sometimes things are passed to multiple people before heading back home, the final result is an interesting collaboration.

    2. I would love to send you one too, Bridget!
Don't feel obliged, but if you want you can email me your snail mail address (my email address you can find - be it being written a little cryptic - at my blog).

  3. this is jean wilson speaking-writing: maybe you can embrace the rose tipped vine branches and they will become your signature. there is something very comforting about having a *go-to* motif or idea. of course, mine is the alphabet. i will never tire of it as subject matter. someday, you may find something that you enjoy as much as the rose tipped vine-branches. then, historians will be able to date your early works, as compared to your later works. once again, you are an amazing grasshopper. and this is jean, writing on my daughter's computer, so it will look like she wrote this, but she did not. i'll go add from jean at the top.

    1. Thank you, Jean-san. I should really have written heart-tipped vines. They were inspired by the vintage rose & tulip stamps from last year, as well as the Cream writing you featured on your blog. Those envelopes last year are probably some of the nicest I've done - certainly quite a few comments today, so maybe this should be a signature, or maybe a semi-signature motif.

  4. I also find add and return a bit stressful. Usually it blocks me and I have no idea what to add. You did it well in both cases I think !

    1. Thanks! I have also learned to wait until the time is right to add my contribution, rather than feel it needs to be added to within a specific time frame.

    2. I agree! Glad to read I'm not the only one. I have received several add-and-passes which still are waiting to be added to and to be returned or forwarded by me. Recently I've returned one - it has been waiting for more than 7 months, me feeling guilty for not responding all this time. And then suddenly the inspiration appeared. Meanwhile some others are waiting for over a year...
By the way, you were the first of this serie to respond, FinnBadger!
