On the flip side, Adrienne loves to use interesting postage, often using vintage stamps. I hope to use the others she included in future Sunday Stamps, so they were axed for today's blog. I love the bonus collage on this side.
This is the first time the definitive 22c butterfly has come through the letterbox. I love the series as a whole, they are so bright and attractive.

Yes, the butterfly is very attractive. And not in the same position I can see in most of the stamps today.
ReplyDeleteAnd an unusual typography for a stamp, I think.
DeleteI was attracted by this 'other position' and point of view, too. Beautiful!
DeleteThe colors are more striking in person.
DeleteI never know which way up the Monarch stamp should go.
ReplyDeleteLooks good from most directions, I suspect.
DeleteI love Adrienne's collages -- and booklets. Very talented. Cool stamps too.
ReplyDeleteYes, her collages are so distinctive and stylish, I love them.
DeleteI wonder if the confusing 'up' position of these insect stamps was deliberate? No matter, this is a beautiful stamp and I always look forward to that first monarch sighting!
ReplyDeleteHaven't seen any so far this year, although May has been dismally cold for spring.
DeleteBeen a while since I've seen this Canadian butterfly - a lovely one! And the collage is so cool as well!
ReplyDeleteI love it when I can combine a mail art post with Sunday Stamps.
