So I hope the other people who received those aren't scratching their heads too much! The stamps I used were intended to match up with the postmark. At least I'm guessing the recipients don't get envelopes from Puerto Rico very often.
I am hapy with your mail and any postmark you sent me (I learn from that), but indeed a pity that the colibri didn't reach our envelopes...
ReplyDeleteI immediately recognize this bird from the Nazca lines, which I've seen in real in the late 90'ies, enormous lines, manmade centuries ago, are so impressive!
It is the one thing I didn't see when I was in Peru. The lines are fascinating.

ReplyDeleteThe address to send the envelopes to was very similar - my outer envelope was addressed carefully, so I can only assume it was delivered to the wrong office.
DeleteBut I wouldn't call it a misadventure. It's just another mail adventure (and, if not happily, at least ended).
