Dreams have been arriving more or less every day for a few weeks now in these little pink envelopes.
Sometimes two dreams arrive in the same envelope.
Now dreams 15 & 16 are MIA. As of today, there are 5 dreams left to receive.
Here's my first dream.
Update: a link to a video on the BBC about the guy behind DDS.
Do you dream?
Would you like to receive a daily dream in the mail?
What about a daily nightmare?
(FYI, you had to pay extra for Nightmare Delivery Service - some would say why pay extra when we already have USPS!).
I usually do not remember my dreams in the morning. Which I find a bit frustrating. This idea to receive a dream is a good one.
ReplyDeleteIt has been interesting, although I feel that I would not be dreaming any of the dreams I received.
DeleteI felt really curious about this! I dream, and sometimes remember dreams. I occasionally explain my dreams too someone, but often this seem too intimate. However, someone are funny... I can send one of those to you!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely, I wouldn't pay for nightmares. I have my own paranoias, you know.
Yes, no need to pay for nightmares, that's for sure!
DeleteGood description of a dream. At least you stayed on topic long enough to fix the mess.
ReplyDeleteLetter D, oh my the alphabet moves quickly.
Hey, It's Ann visiting from A to Z So Much to Choose From and
Science Ladybug
Always interesting to have a postal oddity.
DeleteI don't remember my dreams either, they seem to obliterate themselves so quickly. What a dreamy idea to receive them like this.
ReplyDeleteIt has certainly been interesting. One day, everyone dreamed the same dream... or so my dream says.
DeleteI do remember my dreams often, but at times not. I love my dreams actually:)

If I could remember them, maybe I would love mine too.
DeleteSome dreams I remember and some nightmares. The Dream Delivery service seems like a mail oddity.
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely unique.
DeleteThat sounds really intriguing, though I don't know if I'd want a daily delivery. I sometimes remember my dreams; I often remember parts of them. Sometimes they are very vivid.
ReplyDeleteAnd it's so strange when you wake up, and this entire life and universe just dissolve away.

Yes, don't dreams often seem more vivid than real life?
DeleteIntriguing!
ReplyDeleteI remember many of my dreams. Some are somewhat prophetic (last ones just before waking). I've practiced lucid dreaming for years and can sometimes consciously change what is happening in a dream. I just tell myself I'm having a dream and I don't like where it is going. It works!
Lucid dreaming sounds pretty wild.
DeleteShivers! Oh, I like this! That dream sounds more like a nightmare though. LOL. Very clever.
ReplyDeleteI remember most of my dreams. Does anyone dream in color? Do your dreams ever come true?
Yeah, I'd hate to see what the nightmares looked like.
DeleteI'm guessing I dream in color. Since I don't remember them, I can't say if they come true or not.
That's interesting, getting dreams in the mail. Or nightmares. (Would those come in black envelopes?)
ReplyDeleteAt first I wasn't sure if these would be dreams as in nocturnal vividness, or dreams as in hopes for the future.
I have no idea if the nightmares arrive in different envelopes - I'm guessing he has a giant stack of pink ones, though. The dreams have all been in the vein of weird things that could only (hopefully) happen in a dream.
DeleteHi Phillip - rarely remember my dreams .. but getting them in the mail - I think I can create enough anxieties without dreams arriving too. Saw the film: Your Name last night - Japanese film on dreams ... Wiki has articles about it ...
ReplyDeleteCheers Hilary

The dreams have been interesting, but not anxiety-causing. I think it is because, even though I don't remember my dreams, the ones that have been coming in the mail don't seem like dreams I would dream. I wonder how I know that?
DeleteThis is so cool. I do dream a lot. When I was in high school and part of college I used to write down my dreams in great detail. I became quite good at dream recall back then. A dream or a nightmare in the mail would be interesting. Maybe creepier would be if one of the robocalls that I get turned out to be a dream recounter rather that a sales person or an appointment setter.

Tossing It Out
Although a robo-call dream would be better than the usual robo-call.
DeleteBizarrement je ne me souviens jamais de mes rĂªves mais seulement de mes cauchemars !
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a nightmare itself!
