N is for Netherlands

Heleen has sent me some amazing stamps issued by PostNL over the years. Most of the stamps she has sent me have been shown on my blog as part of her wonderful envelopes,  but a few escaped the full treatment, so here they are.

 Here is one showing a pair of hares from my favorite December Stamps set, plus one featuring a stray cat. Bob, if you are looking for a connection to last week's letter M, the photo was taken on Morocco.




And here is one showing a chicken, with some great bonus details in the selvage.

      I'm a cat lover, too, and was happy to see stray cats shown on postage.

    The chicken feathers are a great addition to the stamp!

    Que de jolis timbres ! jolie poulette et mignon petit chat,les petits lapins de noël sont craquants aussi !
    Cette année en France les timbres des fête de fin d'année ressembleront à ceux de l'an passé ,c'est dommage !

    Thank you for posting, nice to see these animals again!
    The cat photo hasbeen taken by Dutch photographer Charlotte Dumas, on whose website you can find many wonderful animal photos (mainly horses and also (working) dogs)
