Très jolies enveloppes de saison ,cette année la poste française a émis un carnet de timbres "flocons de neige en microscopie optique ",12 timbres différents ! Il a neigé aujourd'hui et on attend encore de la neige demain !
And you posted your snowflakes on your blog on the day that the first major snow fell in this Dutch winter!
(mean height 5 centimeter so far :-) , but that is sufficient for the largest traffic jam in our country ever (2200 km today, while usually Dutch roads traffic jams measure 300 kms or less)
I hope the snow hasn't caused major problems to you. The envelopes are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSnow itself not too bad. The temperatures (-16 C, 2 F) make it worse. And no power outages, that's a bonus!
DeleteI've had quite enough of the snowflakes. They look prettier on your envelopes than they do on my driveway.
ReplyDeleteAt least both recent storms hit arrived over weekends - nothing worse than trying to get to work in 4 inches of snow.
DeleteEnvelopes on point as they say... We had way too much snow (around 14 inches) with wind blowing it around. Bah and bah.
ReplyDeleteThat's a ton! Have only seen that much a handful of time in my life.

ReplyDeleteThanks. I like those snowflake stamps from La Posts. And I saw some beautiful photos of Paris in the snow online today.

The same happens here - everybody forgets how to drive in the snow even though it happens every winter.
