K is for Korea

I received mail art from Kim who lives in the Republic of Korea, although in most of the English-speaking world it is referred to as South Korea.

The stamps celebrate the Lunar Year of the Pig. While both are great, the one made up of reflective circles is my favorite. The other has some gold highlights.

Hard to capture in a photo or a scan, so in a first for Sunday Stamps on this blog, I tried for a video.

  4. Love those pig stamps and the video shows in all its colourful glory although who can resist a fully dressed pig with a bag, I wonder what is inside, gold coins or piggy snacks.

  5. The pigs are to be preferred over the modern politicians on the other stamp on the envelope.

  6. At first I thought I preferred the miss piggy on the right, but on seeing the effervescence of polka dot piggy, that one is clearly the winner!
