Fortunately Christmas Eve is nice and quiet for me this year. Staying hime, wrapping presents, drinking hot chocolate. Maybe watch a film in the evening.

The past couple of days has been bananas as we had the road trip from Hell to our daughter’s in PA. Himself decided to take an alternate route that took us across the GW bridge in NYC on a Friday, rush-hour, holiday weekend. It took an hour just to cross the bridge never mind the rest of the trip. Finally in PA we’ve been busy shopping, helping to clean and decorate. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day should be nice and quiet: tea, eggnog, goodies, movies, and board games.
