Cool! Vilnius! I think that's where Capt. Marko Ramius (Sean Connery) in Hunt for Red October was born. I think. Ramius trained the Soviet submarine fleet and was called the School Master of Vilnius.
Additions which I love! I am happy that your mail finally arrived well.
And I love your second photo, the 'composition with postmark circle and envelope lines' is a wonderful piece of (abstract) art! Makes me think of the 'De Stijl' art movement.
Oh, what a pity! I mean, not the postal additions, but the undelivered letter.
ReplyDeleteTwo fortunate things:
Delete1. It was actually returned to me.
2. I found the correct address, resent it, and it arrived!
So it wasn't bad, at the end: just a happy-end mail adventure! :)
DeleteWith just a bit of worry from me in the middle in case it would not arrive at the right place on its second journey across the Atlantic.

ReplyDeleteIt really *is* Saturday afternoon (now evening) at the movies :)

It happened completely by chance - glad you like it.
