First up, a Large Blue Butterfly on this British stamp from 2018 that is from a set titled Reintroduced Species.
Next is a (mostly) blue international stamp from the Netherlands from a series of Dutch Icons.
Here is a definitive stamp from the 3rd series of the Russian Federation. This stamp is representative of industry.
And finally, from Taiwan, one from a set on blue and white pottery.

A beautiful blue collection today!
ReplyDeleteThe pottery stamp is really cool. Thanks for the link to the whole set.
I hadn't looked at the others before writing this post. I really like how each piece has a different design in the upper right corner in addition to the pottery.
DeleteThat blue butterfly is really beautiful - just wish I could see one here.
ReplyDeleteI mostly see monarchs here.
DeleteI love that the butterfly has such a simple descriptive name! and yes, I am also missing my spring nature walks :(
ReplyDeleteWith all the plants and trees blooming and budding, it constantly reminds me that nature has no regard for COVID-19.
DeleteA beautiful (bluetiful) collection!
ReplyDeletePretty pottery. I have never seen a large blue butterfly but the good weather has certainly brought the butterflies out, I saw five different types yesterday, none rare but all lifted the heart.
ReplyDeleteI think the large blue is a European species.
DeleteThat's great that you saw so many - I don't think I've seen any so far this year.
