Juguetes

Juguetes is Spanish for toys. Europa had the theme classic toys in 2015 and Correos issued this pine-scented stamp featuring a wooden train. It makes me think of Christmas a little bit. Eva gave me instructions to make sure I didn't miss the fragrance :)

Bonus wood-related postcard received via Postcrossing from Canada

  1. I had forgotten about this one, although I sent it a lot when it was a recent issue :)
Did it still smell of pine when you received it?

    1. It did, although I think I had to rub the stamp a bit more forcefully than I was expecting to to smell the pine.

  2. I remember scratch and sniff as a child. Neat idea for a stamp, I like wooden trains.

    1. I don't recall ever having one as a child. The technology of creating a stamp with a scent must be fascinating.

  4. I didnt know that Spanish toys stamp was a scented one! So cool!
The first thought that came to mind regarding this topic was actually the EUROPA toys' series, but I realized that I dont really have much to show from that year...

    1. I think the only other scented ones I have are the frozen treats ones issued in the US in 2018.

    1. I think Ireland issued one that smelled like strawberries a few years back.
