Tracking

Hmmmm....

I don't *think* it went from Columbus to Kansas City in 2 hours. With a delivery date of today.

And 'the item is currently in transit to the destination' is code for 'we have no idea where it is'.

It isn't working very well with parcels here, either. I can't even entertain myself with the tracking adventures: Correos send a tracking number by e-mail, and we I enter the page, the number doesn't exist. It has happened three times. One of the parcels arrived, so I guess the rest will arrive... one day.

    1. Did I tell you that this happened with the TFP package? It came with tracking, and I followed it to customs in Spain, then the next day it said it was back in Chicago. I thought it was returning to me, but fortunately it was just a glitch and was delivered to you shortly after it was 'in Chicago'.

    2. I don't remember you telling that. Yes: it arrived, luckily!

    3. I think it is the only thing I didn't tell you about TFP.

And the package arrived just fine today.

  2. I ordered something from Vermont, a state north of me. The item went from Vermont, to Virginia, to Georgia before heading back North to Massachusetts. I could have walked to Vermont to pick the item up myself a lot faster. It isn't just the post office.

    1. Absolutely agree here. Actually I amazed at how well everything works 99% of the time. I just enjoy the curiosities of tracking systems.

  4. Interesting journey... The mail company must have had a time (and place) machine :-)
Did the mail finally arrive today?
