Two snow days due to storm Landon.
The storm also resulted in no mail delivery for two days, the first time I remember that happening due to weather.
The crazy cats decided they needed to explore, after round one of shoveling and round two of snow.
Now it's just frigid temperatures for a couple of nights before it climbs back up to 32 F / 0 C.
Stay warm and safe out there if you're dealing with winter weather.
No mail delivery for two days is also a mail adventure! (I mean, for you; it's quite normal here).
ReplyDeleteStay safe and drink hot chocolate :)
Public holidays are the exception when they fall next to a Sunday.
DeleteNo mail delivery during bad weather because the postal carrier's union objected to "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds." over their safety. As well as they should have. I mean, we can certainly wait a day or two for the junk mail.
ReplyDeleteI don't blame them either - the roads are a disaster, particularly any that are considered secondary or tertiary. The garbage truck also didn't make its rounds so far this week. Not looking forward to venturing out in it today.
