We're at the letter M.
Eva sent both these stamps on the same letter:
The top stamp, issued in 2018, celebrates 150 years of the Faculty of Museum Curators (formerly known as the Faculty of Archivists, Librarians and Archaeologists).
The other stamp, issued in 2024, celebrates the. three day Festival of Moors and Christians held in Alcoi/Alcoy, and centered around St Georges Day.

I looked up the Festival, and can't quite stop thinking about how odd it sounds. It does sound like a fun celebration with the parades and battles, and fireworks and street parties though.
ReplyDeleteAround here it does not sound odd at all :)
DeleteBut yes, it's a crazy party!
I like the first stamp's representation of the three professions.
ReplyDeleteI like especially the museums collection. I think they are issuing two more stamps this years :)
ReplyDeleteI like the muted colors of both stamps. My favorite is the Moors and Christians. I like the castle and the bridge. At first glance, I thought the bridge was a stylized "M"
ReplyDeleteI like both stamps for different reasons. I really like the design of the festival stamp.
