Eric Mondays, part 10 - stars

I had considered making a multi-piece US flag piece of mail art to celebrate eric's fifty mail call with the 50 stars for the 50 states, but in the end I was a bit stumped about how to handle the stripes.

 So I just sent him 50 stars instead (they are conveniently issued in sheets of 50), and had it hand-stamped to try and avoid the evil postal sharpie/biro.


The post office clerk obliged, and half-way through stamping had a smile on her face - awesome!

    Yes, the way they stamped that is very nice. A good piece for a 50 birthday!

      Thanks, this was a fun one to work on. And conveniently, the 3c star stamps come in sheets of 50.

    Love this -- but if I asked my USPS clerk to do this I think I'd bring some homemade cookies.....
