I don't really think of water when I think of Morocco. These interesting stamps, two of a series of five issued in 2015, arrived on an envelope from Eva. Lake Sidi Bourghaba is a national park, famed for its biodiversity. Link to wikipedia article (in French only).
Aguemam Azegza is also part of a national park in Morocco. Link (in French).

Morocco always conjours up visions of dry places for me. These two stamps show a totally different aspect.
ReplyDeleteWe're I live is everything but dry (even if we haven't had a lot of rain this year).
DeleteI will be the third to agree that Morocco and water was not a combination I would have thought of. (with apologies to Eva for my ignorance!)
ReplyDeleteNo need to apologise. i think that's the general opinion, and people get surprised when they discover the diversity of the country.
DeleteA bonus of Sunday stamps, learning more about foreign places.
DeleteBeautiful sceneries of indeed a rather unknown part of Marocco!
ReplyDeleteLove Moroccan stamps! And I have even been to Morocco but don't think of water BUT many people take a ferry from Spain to Morocco so there has to be! I flew.
ReplyDeleteI suppose it is my own ignorance to think that - because of course without water there can't be people.
ReplyDeleteYes heat rather than water does spring to mind although when I think about it the Atlas Mountains must have some influence on the climate. Nice when stamps surprise.
ReplyDeleteThat's true, I was surprised by these stamps.
