I didn't take part for banana lovers day (27 August), however Toni and Katerina sent me some fun things, so I sent them back two banana 'boats' using the ice cream sundae stamps, complete with split bananas and topped with cherries. These large stamps are from the Soda Fountain Favorites set issued earlier this year.

It's an original approach... In Spain, the banana boat used to be called banana split.

ReplyDeleteI received my first sundae stamps just a couple of weeks ago - never thought of using them for this theme! Creative idea with the Chiquita stickers.

To me as a Dutch native, 'sundae' and sunday' sound exactly the same. Maybe native English speakers hear the difference?!?
What a missed opportunity for a fun play on the blog title! And of course, a non-native English speaker pointing it out!
