Each year the group of postal services in Europe have a themed stamp idea that they all (usually) issue during the year. This year the theme is castles. Katerina sent me the Greek stamp, and Eva sent me the Spanish stamp.
Eva's letter contained a lovely long letter, and Kat's contained this lovely piece of mail art, ready to hang on the wall :)
I like more this stamp than when I saw it for the first time. I've received only the castles from the Netherlands and Iceland. I'm never too lucky with the Europa stamps!
Oooh, sorry... Actually is the Finnish stamp, the one I have received! Maybe I had Iceland in mind when I wrote the comment, but I think I have only received a postcard from Iceland in my whole life, a Postcrossing one. So now you can feel properly jealous... :)

ReplyDeleteHow nice to have received the Iceland stamp, however the Finnish one is still my favorite.

DeleteI am!
DeleteNice stamps!
ReplyDeleteDidn't I send you the Dutch ones? If I didn't, please let me know. :-)
I don't think you have one them to me.
