L is for Levitation
USPS issued a set of five stamps titled Art of Magic this year. Each one has a theme, today's being levitation. I really enjoy the clean graphic design of these stamps.
Used on Halloween mail to Eva. From her blog:

Me too, I love the design, and the colours. Thanks again!
ReplyDeleteYou bet. Another recipient of this bag thought I had made the ghosts myself - of course I didn't but I think they would be easy to draw - the bowties and faces seem very achievable :)
DeleteAt first sight, I also thought they were hand-drawing. Then, as you... I thought I could do that for next Halloween!
DeleteNow I just have to remember the idea!
DeleteI love this stamp - especially how her body is flat on top :)
ReplyDeleteClever the way they have her hair and dress hanging down.
DeleteA magical stamp indeed.
ReplyDeleteI love this set.
DeleteSuper set and a striking levitation stamp, I can imagine those ghosts zooming through the ring.
ReplyDeleteYes, they certainly look active.
DeleteWhat Joy says. Great choice to have the ghosts float in the air in the same direction as the magic lady!
ReplyDeleteI have to confess that the reason I had the ghosts go this way was to make it easier to write the address :)
