Ramirez from Mim

A very nice card from Mim showing a piece of Ramirez' art.

His work was featured on stamps in 2015. I don't have any left, however you can see some I used on this envelope.

 The card arrived in this envelope. Love the wide-eyed cat stamp. And this is my first sighting of the 200th anniversary of Illinois becoming the 21st state stamp.

    Merci de nous faire redécouvrir cet artiste ,sa vie comme celle de beaucoup d'artistes fut compliquée ,lorsque je vois son travail je pense à Roland Topor et à Fernand Léger !J'aime beaucoup l'enveloppe aussi et l'écriture de Mim :)

      His life story is tragic, however he produced amazing art with extremely limited resources. I was not familiar with his work prior to this stamp issue.

    I was lucky enough to get this work stamps (for TFP envelope, I think).
