Today's Sunday Stamps theme is related to Easter - chocolate, bunnies, flowers and churches.
Here's a stamp from Japan featuring the Japanese primrose
And a winterling (winter aconite, a member of the buttercup family) from Germany
The latter was accompanied by a happy snail
And arrived on this nice postcard
Cute postcard. Love the snail.
ReplyDeleteI love that little doodle
DeleteI like the message on this cute postcard. And I am eagerly looking forward to the spring blooms!
ReplyDeleteDaffodils and hyacinths have bloomed here, I'm looking forward to seeing the tulips come up
DeleteStamps with flowers are always beautiful, aren't they?
ReplyDeleteThe snail seems really happy (happier than the bird, actually!).
Flowers are so common on stamps - and maybe common to all culture to appreciate them
DeleteThanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter and happy spring
DeleteThat snail is just precious! I like the primroses on the Japanese stamp.
ReplyDeleteI really like this little guy
DeleteThe primrose is so pretty and so is the owl, but the snail doodle beats them all ☺️
ReplyDeleteIt is definitely a favorite today :)
DeleteI love the evocative German name winterling for the aconite. I like collecting alternative names for flowers. Cool postcard.
ReplyDeleteI like stamps that include the flower name
