Today's theme for Sunday Stamps is the color red.
Recently arrived are the poinsettia stamp in the holiday joy set (2024),
the red snow globe featuring a wintry scene with a deer (2023), sadly with a heavy postmark,
and the red A rate from Correos celebrating traditional Christmas treats (2023).
For more red on stamps, explore the links at See it on a Postcard.
Ooh I like the poinsettia stamp. The geometrical design contrasts with the natural design shown on my blog.
ReplyDeleteA version of the poinsettia is also the holiday design on the labels in the post office self service kiosks
DeleteI had to check out the holiday joy set, love those.
ReplyDeleteThey are nice, delicate designs. Fortunately the holiday postmark isn't too heavy this year.
DeleteI love the geometrical design of the poinsettia. Mmm, Spanish treats...
ReplyDeleteI have the same thoughts about the treats!
DeleteI like the poinsettia too. I looked up what the sweets were, and do like some of those, especially the "polvorones (crumbly almond cookies)."
ReplyDeleteWhat you can see on the stamp is a "roscón de reyes" (kings round cake). We eat it on the 6th January.
DeleteThanks for the extra information, Eva, and for making me hungry, Lisa :)
DeleteI hadn't seen that poinsettia, love it. Or maybe it is that I have seen the other one so many times!
ReplyDeleteIt is on travelling on one of the items sent you that is still to arrive
DeleteIt landed today! :DDDD
DeleteThe poinsettia is s pretty. I don't think I saw that one. I must have missed it in the catalog.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice, although I much prefer last year's holiday stamp designs
Deleteoh i missed your postings.... welcome back!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
