This one is a blast from the past, as I blogged it in the beforetimes (2019).
It's an impressivve stamp for an impressive bird - a vulture. In Spanish it is quebrantahuesos - bonebreaker!
Thanks to Eva for sending it on this great Halloween/fall related envelope.

A favourite stamp! Great that you "rescued" this for Q :)
ReplyDeleteThis one was impressive enough to warrant a second visit
DeleteFantastic stamp. And a beautiful envelope!
ReplyDeleteI'm lucky to have Eva send me both
DeleteWhat a fascinating bird, I just read about them on Wikipedia. Too bad they are extinct in so many of their former areas (there's a map on the site).
ReplyDeleteThey are impressive, aren't they?
DeleteThat is not an easy word to say for the non Spanish speaker (ie me). Great stamp
ReplyDeleteA tough name for a tough avian
DeleteThat is a very cool stamp. Bonebreaker. That sounds like the name of a medieval knights sword.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely!
DeleteThat is a great stamp of this always angry looking bird!
ReplyDeleteThey do look fierce, don't they!
