I realized that I had a good idea to put again your address on the back of the envelope. May be I should do that all the time. And I will not use anymore this "chalk effect" font in white on black because it has created issues each time I have ised it.
I have added this for some of the envelopes I felt might have trouble, however it didn't always help, like with Richard's moon phase envelope that was returned, even though his correct address was on the back.

ReplyDeletePerhaps you are right that the machines don't read it very well, although I don't know how the person (nixie) didn't read it properly...
DeleteEric's envelopes are haunted...
ReplyDeleteHa, true! Ghosts in the machine.
Deletei love the idea of putting a to-from on the back of the envelope....i might start doing that, too.
ReplyDeleteI took this idea from Philippe Charron who does that on all his envelopes.
