Generally celebrated these days in the US by drinking margaritas - although I wonder if there will be much celebrating this year given the COVID19 pandemic.
Stay inside if possible, and explore the links to more celebrations at Sunday Stamps.
Be safe, everyone.
Here in NL the 5th of May is named 'liberation day', 'Bevrijdingsdag', the celebration of the end of WW2 (usually, because also here in NL events are canceled, now, too)
ReplyDeleteWe will get through this with some sacrifices by everyone.
DeleteIt is nice to see this colourful stamp, and written in Spanish! I didn't know about this celebration. I guess nothing can stop your drinking margaritas at home ;)
ReplyDeleteIt is true, I do have tequila in the house :)
DeleteA wonderfully celebratory stamp to cheer one up in these strange times.
ReplyDeleteIt is a very cheerful stamp, isn't it.

ReplyDeleteYou've been to quite a few foreign lands. I always wanted to go to Mexico City and see the sea of VW cabs (amongst other things).
