I realized that I had a good idea to put again your address on the back of the envelope. May be I should do that all the time. And I will not use anymore this "chalk effect" font in white on black because it has created issues each time I have ised it.
Perhaps you are right that the machines don't read it very well, although I don't know how the person (nixie) didn't read it properly...

i love the idea of putting a to-from on the back of the envelope....i might start doing that, too.
I took this idea from Philippe Charron who does that on all his envelopes.
I have added this for some of the envelopes I felt might have trouble, however it didn't always help, like with Richard's moon phase envelope that was returned, even though his correct address was on the back.
