I know I've shown these world poetry day stamps from the United Nations before, however they really are one of my all time favorites. And I sent them to people who hadn't received them before, much to their surprise (which was the whole point).
And welcome to 2017!
Thanka again for those stamps, among my favourite ever!
ReplyDelete(You forgot to erase the address on the envelope. could you? Thanks.)
Hi, so sorry about missing the address - I looked at this post 5 times before publishing, and missed it. It is now taken care of.
DeleteNo problem.

DeleteI have tried many times to write legibly with a fountain pen and fail every time!
ReplyDeleteAll the best to you in 2017!
Ha, mine is not so great either, so the printer is my friend.
DeleteLovely stamps - did not know about these!
ReplyDeleteI love them, they look just as nice in person as they do online.
DeleteBeautifully produced, I like the colouring. I hadn't realised the phrase 'splendour in the grass' was from Wordsworth, ah what education there is in stamps.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great phrase, Joy, and so perfect for today.
DeleteI didn't recognise Wordsworth either. Splendid stamps. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteThanks, and happy new year to you, too.
DeletePoetry stamps? Be still my heart.
ReplyDeleteOther than Shakespeare, poets seem to be somewhat rare on stamps, although USPS issued a set on 20th century poets in 2011.

Thank you again for these great stamps! Definitely one of my favourites, too, so I was happy that you choose these for this Sunday.
ReplyDeleteThank you also for your other mail, and for all beautiful blog posts in 2016. Your site is a joy for the eye :-)
Happy new year!
Thanks for your nice words, Heleen. Happy New Year to you, too!
