Inkblot Monday, part 1

For the next several Mondays I'm going to be showing the inkblots that I sent in and received for an MMSA challenge titled 'Rorschach on the Fold'.

Hopefully you'll play along and share what you see in the inkblots.

I'll be back in a week to see what you thought, and to share what my brain came up with.

  1. Hi Phillip - an elephant ... or perhaps as I only look at half of him - the Yeti .. cheers Hilary

  2. NPR radio recently had an interview with the author of a biography about Rorschach and it was very interesting. You might want to listen to it while you make more mail art. I think they offer reruns at their website.

  3. The back of a dejected giant. He's not happy with his muffin top and he has holes in the back of his pants.

  4. I see the back of a huge gorilla (King Kong ?) with his head down as if he has done somerhing bad and he is ashamed of it...

  5. A dog. Tongue out. Plain and simple.

  6. A dog walking towards the viewer, possibly with something chasing him. The light blue behind might instead be the hedges behind. Or someone threw a blanket over the dog and it is trying to get out from under it. My mind is not quite sure. Too many possibilities.

  7. Two large-breasted women standing back-to-back with light blue feather boas looking down at their feet as each wonders in vain what happened to her toes. The one on the left weeps.

  8. The back of an elephant if you look at those ears but then I see those arms and he looks more like a Yeti. A super cuddly one, though:)

  9. Every koala with a message in his/her hands, has a gorilla stand behind him/her.

  10. So great to read all the interesting interpretations - especially Nancy's, because I saw a dress with a feather boa accessory! I also thought it looked like an animal skull.
