C is for Cheese

Eric sent me this packaging from M & S in Paris.

Accompanied by these fantastic cheese stamps.

  1. I don't think these stamps would ever be issued with a smell sample!
I'm not a fan of stinky cheeses, but every now and then, if there's a sample to be tested, I will give it a try to see if my taste buds like it.

  2. Hi Phillip - love the idea of cheese stamps - delicious thought! The M&S foods are always good - they've developed a good range of choices ... cheers Hilary

  3. These nice stamps remind me of holidays in France, many years ago, where we got a variety of cheese as a dessert. And I loved it!

Although I agree with Violet's words that we will not ever see and smell an issue of cheese smelling stamps, I think it an original idea! I love the smell (and taste) of Emmenthaler cheese so hopefully one day the postal services might pick up the idea?! :-)
