In the summer of 2021 I visited Delaware, and managed to find a postcard showing the Harbor of Refuge lighthouse so that I could mail it from there along with its matching stamp, issued by USPS earlier that year.
Sent alongside the stamps of Navesink and Erie Harbor lighthouses.

I really loved getting this: lighthouse (matching!) stamps and a vintage-style postcard :D
ReplyDeleteI love the name "Harbor of Refuge" as well.
Hard to believe this was over three years ago
DeleteLighthouses are so <3<3<3
ReplyDeleteThey are special buildings
DeleteA lovely combination
ReplyDeleteI was glad I had the opportunity to send this
DeleteSo cool that you were able to match the postcard and stamp. I love lighthouses.
ReplyDeleteA lucky coincidence
DeleteThat is a clever combination! Great stamps.
ReplyDeleteThanks, they chose interesting lighthouses for this set
DeleteGreat! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThankfully Eva posted the images
DeleteInteresting large letter, more of a home-made look to it, not like the vintage glossy ones. I do like it!
ReplyDeleteI hoped to find one of just the lighthouse, however this was the best I could find
DeleteA long way to go for a postcard, but well worth it :)
ReplyDeleteVisited friends and the beach - lucky to also be close to this lighthouse
