Stunning Stamp scene

Eva sent me this gorgeous stamp scene in response to my aerogramme - I love how she even extended the city to the edges of the envelope.

Such a clever idea to use different stamps in this way. And the balloon airmail stamps are an awesome accent.

(If you'd like to see it without the annoying postal scribbles, check out Eva's blog here. I honestly didn't even notice them at first, I was so thrilled when I saw this envelope.)

  1. I recognize it from Eva's blog, so good to see the balloon has had a safe flight over the Ocean! Wonderful, perfect envelope!

    1. I agree - I would never have thought to put such different stamps together and make one scene out of them with just a few extra details -so clever.

  2. Love that envelope -- but wish they wouldn't draw lines over the lovely stamps. You can't use them so why? But it's all part of the process I guess...

    1. Me, too, but I guess some postal workers just seem to do it automatically. At least it isn't thick black sharpie lines.

  3. Fortunately the envelope is still a work of art!
