Eric Mondays part 38 (on Sunday) - (Outer) Space, the Final Frontier

Yes, Eric and Star Trek turned 50 together.

Here's the pictorial postmark from Eric's blog. I really like how this one turned out.

The Star Trek stamps have come in for some criticism as being too abstract, however I love them. Apparently they may owe some of their look to this set of posters by Juan Ortiz.

  1. I am one of those strange humans who haven't watched Star Trek. But the design of the stamps is very appealing.

Thanks to Eric & you, I learnt a lot about things that turned 50 in 2016 :)

    1. Hey, strange human, I also learned some things. Funny that the most things that turned 50 were submarines.

  4. I love these, sums up the essence of Star Trek and a great celebration of the 50 years.

    1. Clearly nobody spoke to the Sunday stamps crew about their positive opinions :)
