Rodin and Vernes
Eva sent me this envelope from Paris in 2017, featuring a very nice (large!) stamp of Rodin's sculpture 'The Kiss'. I also like the cityscape of Paris at the bottom of the envelope (at least I think it is Paris - I recognize Notre Dame).
Apologies to the city of Amiens for not recognizing its cityscape.
Eva wrote her note on the back of this postcard showing Jules Vernes' house in Amien.
Merci. Eva!
:D
ReplyDeleteI hope that nobody from Amiens is reading the post, because the envelope shows this city's landscape and its cathedral...
Thanks for the correction... I wondered why 'Notre Dame' cathedral looked a bit uneven.
ReplyDeleteOh, dear, I even had a large and recognizable clue inside the envelope!! Yet another senior moment brought to you by Finnbadger.
ReplyDeleteI think I just focused on the rose window that is similar.
DeleteLe Président Macron est né à Amiens .
ReplyDeleteI hope he doesn't read my blog ;)
