A great stamp, sent on an envelope from Eva, commemorates the 25th anniversary of the last traveling post office in Spain.
And a great card inside.
Thanks for this great stamp and piece of mail!

Superbe timbre et j'aime beaucoup le wagon postal où l'on voit l'employé des postes devant le casier de tri!Do you know the movie "Jour de fêtes " avec Jacques Tati ?

DeleteI have not heard of this film. My trip to wikipedia was an entertaining one, as I think someone has translated a bit poorly from the French in at least one place: "Marcel and Roger, the two men running the fair, make him their butt and get him drunk."
I think that should have been, "..make him the butt of their joke...".
Of the four stamps, the train is definitely the more interesting one!
ReplyDeleteThere isn't any other stamps with low rates such as 0,01€ to 0,10€, except those of the king. So I must add them to a lot of letters, alas!
DeleteFor sure the train is more interesting. I do like how the definitive stamps line up nicely under the train - it also gives you some perspective of how long the commemorative stamp is.
DeleteTrain, traveling posT office and the tiny plants with white background look like trees in the mist. So matching!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post!
Thanks for all Those exTra Ts :)
DeleteA truly great stamp. I've seen nothing like it.
ReplyDeleteI think it is a bit of an unexpected celebration. And I am glad that Correos decided to do so.
DeleteWonderful stamp and I like the concept of including the interior; the romance of sorting the post while speeding through the night.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if the workers of the time found it so romantic - I bet they had to work pretty fast to get things sorted before the next drop off.
DeleteI still think that maybe it is a better way to stick this stamp... Glad it arrived!
ReplyDeleteI think it looks great, such a cool stamp - thanks again for sending it to me.
