Deporte para todos translates to sport for everyone. These two stamps, issued by Correos in 2013, feature amateur running events and bicycle touring. Eva sent them some time ago. I like the small detail of a foot and a wheel on the white border of the stamps.

I have forget about these! I like the illustrations. There is a third stamps in the series (See it here),
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link! Hiking is the only one of the 3 I've taken part in
DeleteA cycle through the countryside would be my pick, the cycle path looks inviting.
ReplyDeleteIt does, doesn't it? It reminded me of a school trip to Amsterdam where they decided we all needed to go somewhere on bikes. They found the oldest, heaviest bikes for us to ride - the kind where you have to pedal backwards to brake, which is not intuitive if you're not used to it. At one point I grabbed a lamppost to stop myself. It didn't end well 😄
DeleteYou are right: the detail spilling out on the white border is a nice touch!
ReplyDeleteI'm happy watching the runners on the stamp, and from my house as it's on the route of a marathon and a couple of shorter races every year.
DeleteThe foot and wheel going INTO the stamps is a nice touch
ReplyDeleteNot as cool as your 'dinosaur' leaving the stamp 😎
DeleteI'm not much of a sports-person, however a casual bike ride in the country would be nice.
ReplyDeleteOn a nice non-humid spring or fall day sounds good!
DeleteLovely and no snow!
ReplyDelete😎 I thought we had managed to avoid the snow, now there's 1 to 2 inches on the ground. I know this is not even close to what you're getting.
