Front Door Gallery Zinenvelope

Mail Art Martha sent this great year of the rat-related zine. 

She often uses a clever fold to create the envelope from a sheet of paper.

It's called the front door gallery because she 'hangs' mail art so that it can be seen through the glass panels of her front door, for all passersby to see.

Bananas Christmas

Patricia sent me this Christmas card. It does seem to reflect the craziness around Christmas this year!

Fortunately Christmas Eve is nice and quiet for me this year. Staying hime, wrapping presents, drinking hot chocolate. Maybe watch a film in the evening.

L is for Lighthouse

I received a great lighthouse stamp on this package from Taiwan.

It features Anping lighthouse, which is located in Southern Taiwan and was built in 1965. Technically it is a light tower, however it is usually referred to as a lighthouse.

K is for Korea

I received mail art from Kim who lives in the Republic of Korea, although in most of the English-speaking world it is referred to as South Korea.

The stamps celebrate the Lunar Year of the Pig. While both are great, the one made up of reflective circles is my favorite. The other has some gold highlights.

Hard to capture in a photo or a scan, so in a first for Sunday Stamps on this blog, I tried for a video.
