MMSA altered postcards - Escher 2

Continuing with cutting pieces of the postcards away, but this time saving them to stick on the address side.

This one is Escher's Sun and Moon. The blue is just for contrast.

  1. These turned out so well (even cooler in person!) I'm amazed at the precision - you must have a very steady hand. Gluing the cutouts to the other side was a brilliant move.

  2. Thanks - glad you liked them. Initially I didn't give the Eschere cards a second thought, then started wondering 'how would I alter these'. I'm just sad I forgot to scan the third one - but maybe I'll steal the image from your blog after you've scanned them in ;)

The answer to precision is a very sharp blade. And at times I didn't feel that precise, so I'm glad you think I was. This was an incredible theme for a postcard challenge - really made me think about how I could change pre-existing work in a thoughtful way.
