Patricia sent me this postcard ages ago, to which she added a fruit sticker.

I added one more, and I thought I sent this to Tonipoet, but maybe she sent it along to DKULT to add more and return to Patricia.

Artbook to DKULT

DKULT sent me the deconstructed pieces of the 100 years of DADA collage I sent her in this envelope, plus a few extra bits. Check out the fun artistamps.

I turned the ephemera into this mini artbook. If you've sent me any bits and pieces in the past, some of them were added here.

And sent it back in this envelope.

Kraft paper envelopes

There's something about envelopes made from Kraft paper. There's a certain feel to them, and the neutral beige tends to be a perfect background for pretty much anything. And even though they seem plain, they still stand out from the usual white-enveloped bills that come in the mail.

I recently bought some for a mini-project, so now I have extras. 

These two were sent to Rebecca (in the UK) and Ana (in Brazil), with some artistamps added for fun.

I returned an add and pass sheet that Ana had sent ages ago.

Recycled Christmas mail

I recycled the sides of a USPS box as four Christmas 'postcards'. I have yet to find out if they made it to their destinations...

Update Jan 14 - one has been received in France.

Update Feb 25 - the one to the UK also arrived intact.

100 years of DADA - part 2: the collages

Keeping in the spirit of DADA (I hope) I created collages from found objects, including an abandoned dictionary, a cigarette packet left to rot in the rain, and things in the bottom and side pockets of my backpack.

100 years of DADA - part 1: the envelopes.

2016 (or 2015, depending on your definition) is the centenary of the birth of DADA, an anti-art, anti-bourgeoise, anti-establishment movement.

I attended an exhibit of Noah Purifoy's work titled JUNK DADA. I often use catalogs and promotional material to make my envelopes. This time I grabbed two full museum handouts to create 8 envelopes.

Mail art books

I sent a series of trashpo mail art books for some IUOMA people - MomKat, Linda F, De Villo Sloan, DKULT, Mail Art Martha, PetrolPetal. Erni has since left the IUOMA platform, he was also sent one. I included many pieces from these correspondents in the books, so they are all collaborations to some extent.

This is just a random selection of pages from all of them.
