2B or not 2B, what is this mail art?
I haven't been all that active with mail art recently, so I was surprised and intrigued to find this unsolicited and unexpected package arrive from Gü. I love the Shakespeare stamp from Royal Mail that commemorates the 400th anniversary of his death. And there's even Shakespeare washi tape!
So much Shakespearian stuff! I encourage you to enlarge the picture and check it all out. The pencil alone is amazing. And the fine collage work on the Richard Burton is a marvel.
Love the stamp - Guilt free mail, no reply expected!ReplyDelete
It'd great, isn't it?Delete
And the envelope has a vintage, crinkly feel to it - this was a mail art treat.Delete
I m impressed ! Very nice ! I love the Shakespeare washi tape ! And the pencil is really greate.ReplyDelete
One of my favorite pieces of mail art this year.Delete
I saw the link to this post from your actual commemorative stamp entry to Sunday stamps :) I'm so envious with that colored bookmark on the second photo. I always regret not buying enough memorabilias and stuff when I visited Stratford-upon-Avon, Shakespeare's birthplace.ReplyDelete
At least you have the memories - I have never been to Stratford.Delete
