The sun

Or at least part of it on the eclipse stamp issued in 2017. If you heat the stamp it will reveal the moon blocking out most of the sun. I received and sent this stamp a few times.

There's also a sun on one of the woodland animal stamps, as well as on the pictorial postmark (credit to CJ for the photo).

And finally, some suns sent to Eva a while ago.

  1. Woah! I get excited like a 5 years old about things like the eclipse stamp that changes with heat. Super cool!!! The deer postmark is beautiful.

  2. I posted the US one, but I can't get it to change with my finger's heat! Maybe it's cold, or the coating on the stamp gets too old? Those are such cute winter woodland animal stamps.

  3. I couldn't get the eclipse stamp to do its thing with my finger, either. Maybe I should find an incandescent lightbulb. The suns sent to Eva are gorgeous.

  4. Nice to see these pieces of mail again!

The first envelope is very clever. As it is the one you sent to me with the eclipse stamp, of course :)
