Turismo de negocios translates to business tourism, which accounts for over 6 billion euros in Spain each year - people who travel to Spain for meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibition spend more per person than tourists on vacation. Spain ranked 3rd in the world for business travel in 2025. Correos issued the stamp in 2024.
The stamp arrived on a matching envelope sent by Eva.

As usual, I have forgotten this one. I like how it looks on the envelope :)
ReplyDeleteThis year, the tourism stamp is "sustainable tourism" and "rustic heritage" (I sent you the second one, on the type case postcard).
Cool stamp and matching envelope. I like how they both tell a story.
ReplyDeleteI know it's about business, but seeing them on their phones when they just arrived seems wrong! Look at the scene out the window!
ReplyDeleteLove the envelope, with everyone on a mission and the lone leisure traveller.
ReplyDeleteI love the envelope!!! I like when they find subjects for stamps that are out of the ordinary….
ReplyDeleteThat is interesting that business people spend more than tourists! Maybe their hotels are more expensive?
ReplyDeleteYou spend more when you are in a hurry!
