Lynn received one of my '3D' postcards in the MMSA favorite city swap, and sent me this great bonus card to thank me.

And I was making dragons for an mmsa swap, and they made me think of Jan H's dragon envelope, so i sent her one. I like this guy, he looks like he's zipping along on important dragon business.

I even addressed it with wrought iron writing in gold on an orange background - the scan looks a bit garish; it was easier to read in reality.

Terrie was a big fan of my tape trees card that she received in the swap, and she sent me yet another great piece of mail art.

I currently owe her at least three pieces - hopefully I can get some of the backlog cleared this month.

MMSA Honi C Collage challenge part 1

Every now and again Karen invites an MMSA participant to provide sheets of images/patterns/text which are to be used as the main focus of postcard art to be swapped.

Here are two designs I sent in for the swap:

And here is the design I sent to the host for running the show so efficiently and creatively, as well as to Honi C for creating the sheets. It was my attempt to arrange two collage items in a Rothko-esque style.

I received cards from Karen S (great dark blue/purple/black background - a good match for those winter flower stamps, Jean), and Jenny R (this is the addressed side using some more of the text).

This interesting card arrived from Terrie P. Music always looks great as part of a collage, but it's the first time I've received arabic text as part of a collaged card. Adds a lot of mystery.
