  1. I think I had missed these. The second looks especially gorgeous.

    1. :) ! Thanks Eva! I made the leaves with a stencil and some gouache.

I can't believe they didn't cancel the stamps...it doesn't even look like they stuck it through the machine at all. I think my October exchange envelopes must have clogged up the machine (the envelope that Jean posted looks like they ran it through twice)...USPS probably like, "Oh crud. Not her stuff again!"

    2. They are all great, and the scans don't do justice to any of them. I was impressed by Elizabeth's use of so many different shades of color on the leaves - really great work. And very odd that this one has no postal markings at all - it's like it was hand-delivered! Carol's is really beautiful - the pen is more metallic than the image shows, her flowers really jump off the envelope. Florence made her envelope from a paste paper she made herself, so it has a bit of an iridescent quality that does not show on the computer.

    3. Sometimes the computer can really show how wonderful the snail mail is. That's frustrating for snail mail / blogging lovers!
