This is one of my favorite bags that I kept to send to Eric for his paper bag mail art call. You can't tell from the scan, but the tree has a different texture (a bit like letter press) compared to the rest.
I'm looking forward to seeing how it traveled - hopefully the stamp placement didn't earn any nasty biro or sharpie marks.
The placement of the stamps is very nice... I hope it arrives well!ReplyDelete
Thanks, I thought it would be a fun way to position them.Delete
Hi Phillip - wonderful to see and I certainly hope it doesn't get marked and arrives safely ... cheers HilaryReplyDelete
I knew it arrived safely, and Eric confirmed the stamps were unharmed.Delete
It arrived safely. But none of the stamps got cancelled...ReplyDelete
I am surprised how many of the stamps on the bags have traveled without being postmarked in any way.Delete
Yes it seems that the manual cancellation that should be done when machines are not able to do it because of the position of the stamps is done more and more rarely.Delete
Superbe création et ces magnifiques timbres de Janis Joplin,Eric a beaucoup de chance !!!!!!!!ReplyDelete
At first I wasn't sure which stamps to use with this bag, and in the end the square stamps fit perfectly around the tree.Delete
