Rain or shine, the mail is delivered

This exchange envelope from Kathy S came in the rain...



...and sadly with the dreaded sharpie cancel on this fantastic stamp.

    If we would know where the scribbling postman (m/f) would live, we could make a nice postmark rubberstamp and send it to him or her, so he or she can use it instead of a felt pen :-)

Merci beaucoup pour le lien;parmi les œuvres du"modern art in America stamps" se trouve le timbre American landscape (paysage américain) de Charles Sheeler ,j'ai pu voir ce tableau il y a quelques années au musée de l'orangerie lors de l'exposition"the age of anxiety" la peinture américaine des années 1930 ,il y avait aussi des tableaux de Edward Hpper ,Georgia O'Keeffe .

    1. It is a wonderful sheet of stamps, long since sold out. They made a nice effort to create stamps of different sizes, as well as being relatively large so that the art can be appreciated on the small canvas.
