Sunday stamps - places of worship

For today's theme, I am sharing a single stamp from France thanks to Fafa.

The church, Église Saint-Pierre (St Peter's church) in Riga, Latvia with snow. Construction began in 1209, and you can access the Wikipedia page for more information: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Peter%27s_Church,_Riga

    1. Agreed, I think the Baltic states would be fascinating to visit.

    2. I meant I was there some years ago. "Just" because it is the only Baltic country I have visited.

  2. The snow is a nice touch. I really like the angle; like a teaser to see more!

    1. A lot of images of this church online have a similar angle - I wonder if there is another building in the way that makes it hard to capture the spire from a different position?

  3. Its snowy crowning glory. The phrase 'raising from the ashes' certainly applies to this steeple.
